09/04/25 Uplink Community AMA
Summary of Discord AMA, September 4th, 2025.
Uplink participants:
Claudia Olah, CMO
Mike Post, Community Manager
Thank you to all of the community members who attended! [AMA begins] Mike: Welcome, everyone, to another Uplink community AMA! We always look forward to these. I’m Mike, Uplink’s Community Manager. I’m the guy who has the pleasure of interacting with you folks on a daily basis. It’s been wonderful getting to know so many of you from around the world. I’m joined today by Claudia. Claudia, for the probably very few people on here who don’t know you already, why don’t you give us a quick introduction?
Claudia: I think a lot of you know me. I'm Claudia Olah, CMO at Uplink. I joined the team more than a year and a half ago. I've been in the space since 2018. We're working aggressively to get the platform up and running. Feel free to ask any questions in the chat as we go. And yeah, that's pretty much it as far as a short intro goes. I've introed myself on these so many times, I forget what you guys do and don’t know about me already! But if you have questions about me, feel free to put them in the chat. Anyways, we’re looking forward to answering your questions today!
Mike: Indeed!
Claudia: So Mike, do you want to start off with news about the contest that just ended?
Mike: Yep! The DiY contest was awesome. We were really just thrilled with the creativity and effort that you guys put into your submissions.
Claudia: Just absolutely so cool.
Mike: It was really cool. And so we're in the process of judging those right now, and we'll look to have those announced hopefully by the end of the week and then send out those well-earned NFTs shortly thereafter. Claudia, why don't you tell us about the other big news item of the week?
Claudia: Yep! We recently launched a partnership and collaboration with GEODNET. Basically, they have this decentralized GNSS network, so you have a device on a rooftop and it helps them collect data and you can earn tokens for the data that they collect. Usually this hardware is quite pricey, and we've been able to secure a lot for just our community within these regions. Right now it's only in Korea, but we will be launching new locations in the upcoming weeks. So stay tuned.
If you have additional questions about GEODNET, please throw them in the chat, we'll throw them to their team and we'll get back to the community on the questions that you guys have for them. And we'll make sure to post more content about them. The Surge locations that are participating have GEODNET next to the name in the app. You can get all of the information through the Portal in the App. All of the information is also posted here on Discord in the events channel.
You can see here where the locations are throughout Korea, and we will have more locations going forward. This particular event in Korea is going on for only one month, so make sure to tell your friends and family that are in these areas or in these regions, share about it on your socials, share your referral codes, so you can also earn 10x Uplink points when in those areas. It's not just people within these areas that can benefit from Surge. It can also be people that you refer who live in these areas, too. And if you both live in one of these areas and have rooftop access, you can apply to receive some free GEODNET hardware. Really cool! I love what they’re doing at GEODNET. We're really excited about this partnership and excited also to open an additional Surge location, because it's been a while.
Mike: It has indeed. As much as we love Buenos Aires, it's good to expand!
Claudia: The Buenos Aires Surge is still alive, but that was our first one and you're going to see a lot more partnerships, and a lot more turnover with Surge in the upcoming weeks and months. We have a better ability to open up more Surge locations now. We had the ability before, but we've been building a lot. This is a priority
If there are additional projects that you guys have in mind for partnerships, particularly DePIN projects but any others as well, please let us know and we will add them to our list. But we do have some on the pipeline already for you guys. We want to give you guys real access to hardware, real access to other DePIN projects. The GEODNET partnership it's a win-win for everyone and we're excited to give access to it to our Uplinker community exclusively.
Mike: We are indeed! It’s really cool to do our first kind of physical DePIN collaboration.
Claudia: Uplink uses existing software or hardware, so you won't be buying $700 worth of hardware from us, but you can get free hardware from GEODNET through this partnership.
Mike: Everyone loves free stuff! Let's move on. I think we just have just one other piece of news and then we'll get to the questions. How about a TGE update?
Claudia: As you guys know, and I was going to post this in the group chat, we posted a blog explaining our future tokenomics and how they work. And all of our blogs are kind of easter eggs of what we're building, what we're prioritizing, things that we think the community would like to know about. So if you're not in tune and watching our blogs, then make sure to follow us on Twitter and to subscribe to our newsletter.
Basically, what we prioritize with tokenomics is utility over speculation, first of all, and matching supply and demand. And we’re a core telecommunication company rather than one that might say, “okay, the market's doing great, why don't we throw a token out there?” Of course we could do that, but we are more interested in actually building a platform that's going to be here for the long term. And because of that and the work we’re still doing building that core platform right now, we’re now pushing this our TGE date to early 2026. That's the timeline right now. And this is a secure date, which we can't share with you right now, but we'll share with you at some other later time once we’re all ready for the token launch. But there are just some things that we need to build out first, one of which is the business platform, and to get all of it ready to launch on testnet and beyond. So you guys will see those before we share our exact token launch date. We talk about the business in the tokenomics article as well. We’ll want to have that on-chain, testnet, the utility side, and then we can launch a token because that's when it makes sense and that's when there's long-term value in what we're building.
I understand that everyone's very anxious about us launching a token. I am as well. I would love to see it sooner rather than later, but it's all about building out the platform in a way that’s going to set it up for the long term. So this is why we're postponing the date, but we do have an official date kind of set in mind. We will keep you guys updated here on Discord first on any updates on TGE and when that date is secured, once we’re able to tell you publicly.
Mike: This is American lingo, or more specifically lingo from Texas, where Claudia is from, but Claudia, I know this isn’t your first token rodeo.
Claudia: Yeah, this is my third or fourth token launch.
Mike: Just to echo what Claudia said, we want to make sure, absolutely sure, in this situation that we're building sustainably and that everything that’s necessary for the long-term success of the platform is in place before we launch a token.
Claudia: You guys are hearing this first, before we update the date anywhere in our online materials.
Mike: And we wanted to tell you all now, in order to be fully transparent. We’d originally planned on the second half of the year, and we didn’t want to wait until late in the year before sharing. It’s important to us that we be as transparent with you guys as we’re able to be. As always, we'll update you as soon as we can.
Alright, so let's move on to the questions. As always, we're going to prioritize the questions that were submitted ahead of time. Please drop any further questions you have into the chat and we will get to as many of those as we possibly can. So let's kick it off! First: Claudia, we've had a lot of questions about the roadmap. Where do we stand with releasing an updated roadmap?
Claudia: We actually have a lot being built in general right now. We’re building out the business side of the platform. We're building out our business relationship with the Fortune 500 company. That's the global expansion with them. Those are already a lot for the small team that we have. But on top of that, we're also building two really big things, one that's really teleco specific and is going to bring everything full circle. We’re hoping to have that new roadmap updated this quarter. We’ve got a sort of surprise product we’re looking forward to deploying. It's not a complete surprise, but it's something that the DePIN industry has not been able to tackle so far, and we're tackling it. Very excited to share that news, but I can’t say anything just yet! We’ll need to wait until it's basically built out. We have the launch date and we're ready to go internally, it's built, but we need to make sure that it's ready for the scale that we’re planning it to run on.
Mike: It’s just like any ambitious project, you start with an ambitious vision and then it gets five times as ambitious.
Claudia: And one thing we don't want to do is promise the world and not actually deliver that. So we're really focused on things that we can actually deliver, making sure that it's actually possible, testing it thoroughly with the businesses that we work with. That way we can match supply, which is our community, with the demand that's already there. We have done that with the Fortune 500 company, so it’s partly about connecting the pieces, but it's also about ensuring the telco scalability that telco companies need. That's all the information I can give you guys for now. We’re looking forward to sharing more as soon as we can!
Mike: So, speaking of the roadmap, we've been asked about the primary technical business and managerial roadblocks that have caused us to be a little bit delayed on the timeline. Of course, many of you who have been around the space for a while know that things almost always take longer than expected, especially when it’s a project that’s doing something that hasn’t been done before.
Claudia: Yeah, I think that in this industry, we're constantly updating, constantly changing, constantly learning something new, especially when we are building something that's never been built before. I mean, yeah, there's other DeWi ecosystems, but what we're doing is completely different, especially when it comes to existing infrastructure. At the end of the day, we aim to be a marketplace for connectivity tools and solutions. So of course this can take longer than expected, but because no one's ever done this before. And we're aiming to build out the tools and solutions that telecommunication companies need, that Fortune 500 companies and enterprises need. That way, we have the matching supply and demand that we have promised when we launch the platform. We've been all about building actually the complete tool and solution and connecting everything.
Ultimately, we’ve run behind the timeline because there ended up being a lot of additional things that we wanted to build. We’ve pivoted a bit on the demand side, and we've actually been able to create real tools and solutions for telcos that should make Uplink their core DeWi platform. I’m excited to share what those are when they’re ready to go. And of course, these new improvements and changes take a little more time than we’d originally allotted. This happens with innovation. We try to keep you guys as tuned in with the timeline as we can.
Mike: I know I'm just repeatedly echoing what you're saying, but yeah, when you're building something completely new, you have to build everything from the ground up. And as you're building your original solutions, additional solutions both become fitting and necessary, especially in our industry, when we're collaborating with telcos and, as you mentioned, a very significant Fortune 500 company.
Claudia: Yeah. And that does give us a lot of pull with the telcos, but at the end of the day, they really just need certain things built for them that a lot of companies are not delivering. So we're very excited that we are building those.
Mike: What are the plans for the fourth quarter of this year, and what actions are being actively implemented? And because this one was asked by our community superstar tranminhdat, I realized I forgot to shout out our mods – tranminhdat, Edgar, and azureblue – and also all of our ambassadors. Thank you for everything you do, whether that’s spreading the word about Uplink or helping us keep the lights on here on Discord. Much appreciated! We couldn't do it without you. Anyway, back to the question: what are the plans for the fourth quarter this year and what actions are being actively implemented?
Claudia: The plan for this last quarter is launching that platform I was telling you guys about for telcos, and also the global extension with the Fortune 500 company. Basically, for the business platform to be complete and connecting that with testnet so that we have real on-chain utility. So demand and supply connection, and then utility on-chain. And then we have TGE next year. So that's really what we're building right now. We’ll also be opening up a lot more Surge locations. On the marketing front, we’re working on a lot of partnerships
Mike: Indeed we are, and and as ever, just continuing to build the platform across its entire breadth and building up toward testnet. Speaking of testnet, another question we received regards how long we expect testnet to last. The answer is basically as long as necessary. We can't really put an end date on; it’s there so that we can work through any issues that arise, so that we can answer concerns and implement features based on community feedback, and so that we can really perfect the platform before launching into mainnet. It’s very much a qualitative process rather than being time limited, because we want to make sure that everything is absolutely ready to go for mainnet so that the launch goes as well as it possibly can and so that the platform is perfectly ready to go on day one. There's really no benefit to anybody, be that the project, the community, or future token holders, in us rushing through testnet.
Claudia: Our next question is if we expect more region and device specific awards for the community in the future. Absolutely. We actually have a pipeline for this already. We’ve started with Geodnet specifically, but there are also other projects that we’re speaking with. The plan right now is to have Surge to cross-reference areas where we really need routers and the regions that are eligible and then making sure that we can guarantee rewards for the community from other projects that also need benefits within these regions as well. So there's a lot of potential alignment there between us and other DePIN projects. So if you guys have any projects you’d like to connect us with, or just any ideas for projects you’d like for us to collaborate with, we’d love that. Reach out via Discord ticket or email us at hi@uplink.xyz.
Mike: Next question: why don’t the top-ranked contributors of routers receive NFTs given what you’re contributing to the community? Those registering routers are rewarded directly with Uplink Points. The NFTs are most intended for people who go above and beyond to participate in and contribute to the community itself, whether that's serving as moderators or serving as ambassadors, helping out others, helping spread the word on social media, participating in contests, and so on. The NFTs are meant as a token of appreciation and recognition to the community.
Claudia: Another question for you: is there any role this month that’ll be given for attending the AMA?
Mike: Not this time, but we'll consider awarding one for future AMAs! It'll likely be cosmetic, but people want it. So for those of you who are interested in that, we'll do it next time.
Claudia: And there's another question about roles, Mike: if any of them are incentivized.
Mike: At the moment, all roles are cosmetic. As always. It's possible that things could change in the future. And also after the platform is launched, it's possible we will role-gate some stuff based on people's status with regard to the ecosystem. That’s TBD, based on how Discord ultimately integrates into the platform. Another question for you, Claudia: will there be any Surge events in other countries? Basically, how will Surge look going forward?
Claudia: Yeah, I love this question. Absolutely. So we first launched Surge in Buenos Aires, and now we're in Korea. We also have another country on the horizon in the upcoming two weeks. Right now, we are looking for specific partners and prioritizing that in those regions, which is why we're starting with Korea with GEODNET. But later on, we will have a lot more locations and we will keep you guys in the loop as soon as we have them live. You guys are going to hear about them first. And just keep in mind, you can also earn not just from being in the surge location, but from referring people who register routers in those locations.
Mike: And ultimately, in the long term, Surge is going to be about where telcos feel that there is a really urgent need to provide more connectivity, right?
Claudia: Right now, this is just a key driver on where we need more registered routers and also some key areas given to us by telcos and enterprises that are working with us. But after the network goes live on mainnet,, Surge will specifically be for areas where we need more routers deployed to provide immediate connectivity. And participating in those Surge events will translate into token rewards; people who deploy in the regions where Surge is active will earn token rewards. Right now, it’s just a simulation of how Surge will work in the future.
Claudia: A question for you about the NFTs: what kind of utility or benefits will the Uplink Community NFTs provide within the ecosystem?
Mike: At this time, we have no plans to add utility to the Community NFT series. As we've said, they're meant solely as a token of our appreciation of the community.
Claudia: And will there be future utility within the ecosystem? Is this possible?
Mike: Yeah, it's always possible and we're always happy to hear feedback from the community. We love your ideas. Also, it just depends on once we hit mainnet, if we find a place within the platform, within the ecosystem, where NFTs are going to drive real value. So you never know what the future will hold, but at this point, at least with the Community NFT series, the plans are to just have them stay as they are.
Let’s move on to some technical questions. Claudia, in what ways does building on an Avalanche L1 and leveraging the Avalanche 90000 upgrade give Uplink an advantage over other DePIN projects?
Claudia: Well, we're actually the first DePIN project to launch an L1 on Avalanche. The reason why we did this was a lot because of their Avalanche 9000 upgrade. This allows us to build our own L1 that allows us to cater to our enterprise clientele and also frees us from competing for gas fees with other L1s while also working within the Avalanche ecosystem. So we're not competing with other L1s, we're not competing with anyone else in the ecosystem. We're more like collaborating with them. We don't have to give up something in order to get exactly what we need at the enterprise level. The scalability Avalanche offers gives us a lot more usability for what we're trying to build. Of course, the community and team support that we got from the Avalanche team is a bonus on top of all of that. They're a great team.
Justin from Avalanche was just on the Twitter space with us, and he's been a huge support since the very beginning, and we deeply appreciate that. But though we love building on Avalanche and we love the Avalanche team, it's ultimately not the only blockchain that we're ever going to build on, and we plan on bridging them together with other blockchains in the future to provide access to the platform that’s as widespread as possible. This is just our starter build. And that's another reason why we picked Avalanche: because bridging to other blockchains and ecosystems is possible within the Avalanche ecosystem because of this L1 Avalanche 9000 upgrade.
Mike: Yeah, there are of course quite a few other advantages of building on Avalanche. For example, having access to the Avalanche validator ecosystem.
Claudia: A ton.
Mike: That means you don't have to find validators yourself. And of course I love Avalanche. Avalanche is awesome.
Claudia: I have been an Avalanche fan even since before I joined Uplink. We chose it for various reasons, and there is an entire blog we wrote about it in which we shared all of the reasons why we chose to build on Avalanche (https://www.uplink.xyz/blog/uplink-is-building-on-avalanche-l1-a-deep-dive-into-the-benefits-and-avalanche-9000-upgrade).
Mike: So next up, which testnet features are already live and which major milestones are next on the path to mainnet?
Claudia: Right now, it's about putting our key instigators from our business use case on-chain. And that's what our testnet is all about. It’s connecting supply and demand, like I said, and putting that data on-chain so that we can launch a testnet to begin with. So once we have that information and we have the full business platform built, which we are close to achieving, we will be able to share that use case with you guys and also share the priorities of what we're trying to put on testnet and how you guys can participate. And for that and all the details on our testnet build, we're actually going to bring in Aldrin, our VP of Product, onto one of these AMAs when the time comes because he knows a lot more about this than I can ever explain to you because he's building it. So I would like to bring him in as soon as we can be more specific with you guys and you guys can ask all of your technical questions on what we're building and prioritizing in testnet. And a lot of people in the telco industry actually call Aldrin. He's got the keys to the kingdom in his brain. He understands telecommunication and what we need to build better than anyone I've ever met. I’m very excited for you guys to meet him. I think it's time we bring him up.
Mike: And he’s also a super cool dude. But yeah, in terms of his technical mind, when I came on with Uplink, I read through some of the very extensive technical material he’d written about the platform and the initial roadmap. It was extremely well written, and I realized that I’ve got a ton to learn before I'll have even 25% of the understanding that he has of the telco space.
Claudia: His brain is the blueprint. So I'm very excited to have him on board. If any of you are interested, you can check out more about our team in the litepaper or on our website.
Mike: Yeah, he's awesome. We're super lucky to have him. Okay, and moving on to the next one, how many active routers are currently in the network? What is the coverage, quality and reliability of these routers?
Claudia: So as many of you know, our network is currently not live since it's not on-chain. Right now, we're in the registering routers phase. That's where you can connect to a wifi router through the Uplink App and register that device. Later on, we're going to have scanning and mapping. That's the Pokemon Go-like feature. And that's where you can go around and actually make sure that these routers are connected, are correct, and see if they're part of the OpenRoaming network. The routers we have live at the moment are those we’re connected to through our relationship with OpenRoaming. Those are the verified routers you’ll see on the Explorer.
In terms of numbers, our number of verified routers is about 16,000. That’s been constant only because these are the only mapped OpenRoaming routers that are accessible that we know the location of. There are three million OpenRoaming routers throughout the entire world, and we can actually have all of those routers actively on the network once we have them mapped. So technically we have that network live already. We are IDP and ANP certified through the OpenRoaming network. That tool and solution is ready to be brought on-chain and brought onto the network. And then it's building the additional tools and solutions, which are the routers that you guys have at home, onto the network and adding them as verified routers. So technically, we have three million OpenRoaming routers that we can access and we can give to you guys and which we can offer as a supply for enterprises, which is amazing. Our number right now for router registration is about 3.4 million, so we're nearing 3.5, which is a huge milestone.
Mike: Do you want to expand upon OpenRoaming in terms of verified versus registered routers? That's more of a complicated topic. I know that's made reference to how registered routers can be conceivably converted into verified routers in the future.
Claudia: There's various tools and solutions. These all need to be built out. They can be through a plugin, they can be through an SDK, but they're all software solutions. We’re obviously not going to turn around and say, “Hey, you guys all have to buy this hardware.” That's absolutely not what we plan to do. That's not our intention, and that's never been our goal. It's exclusively about building out the software tools and solutions for this.
Mike: Existing infrastructure. We're a marketplace and we are not an OEM. Next question: adding wifi full-time is labor intensive and time consuming. If the same point ratio is supplied across different countries, participants in low cost of living countries will seize computing power from participants in high cost of living countries, forcing the latter to exit. How can this be addressed?
Claudia: We tackled this issue through our three proof system. And this is actually a great question because they are problems that are in current DeWi solutions that are out there. And we do have this briefly outlined in our litepaper. It is outlined in depth in our white paper, which will be coming out prior to TGE. And this will answer a lot of these questions for you guys. You'll be able to read more technically about how we built the three proofs. But yeah, right now it's a three proof system that makes sure that the platform is rewarding the appropriate people in each region and ensures fairness across the board on the platform. So we are prioritizing this. We talk in the tokenomics blog about how we’re prioritizing fairness with the token model. So really what's in that blog is what we are prioritizing for our token launch.
Mike: And finally, what is the primary purpose of the work breakdown structure in Uplink? And I know when we got this, I was a little bit stumped as to exactly what this meant or was referring to.
Claudia: Yeah, this is the first time that we've heard work breakdown structure. So I had to look up that term. I don't know if it's another cultural term, but I'm assuming this means project management. So for us, we have a very detailed structure in our technical team for various components of what we're building. And we put in a lot of thorough research before we invest work into any development. And we have several items right now on the pipeline that we're closing out while we're simultaneously doing research for future builds. All in all, it's very similar to other blockchain projects that I've been a part of. But yeah, we do have a lot figured out and we are very organized. We've actually gotten a lot more organized in the last three months as well. So prepared to see us move a lot faster. That's the plan.
Mike: Our next question, and I’ll tackle this one: does the team have any updates regarding partners? We’ve got our collaboration with GEODNET active right now, and more to come. We’re doing our best as we build toward mainnet to really build out our partner ecosystem, which is going to happen naturally just with the creation of the marketplace, but also through our efforts to create integrations, whether it's bringing projects and enterprises onto the marketplace or otherwise.
And as ever, if any of you have ideas of projects, DePIN, or otherwise you'd like us to collaborate with, if you think, “Well, such and such project is awesome, why don't you talk to them?” let us know. I can't underline this enough. We love to hear your feedback, and it's super helpful, and it's important to us that we're hearing it. So if you’d like to share any thoughts, questions, concerns, anything of the sort, please do not hesitate to ping me or open a ticket.
Claudia: Yeah, we naturally get a lot of these partnerships through articles that we write and through our advisors. We have a really strong advisor network, which is amazing. It's more than I've ever seen in any blockchain project I've been a part of. We get connected with partnerships through Avalanche as well. So we do have a lot of connections.
Mike: Okie dokie. So moving on to another question. It's a long question: with Uplink’s rapid growth in the DePIN space and achieving over three million registered routers in the first half of 2025, what specific plans does Uplink have to expand its ecosystem in the future, particularly regarding the integration of AI or other emerging technologies to enhance user experience and optimize decentralized connectivity? Long question. Also a very incisive question. I like it.
Claudia: I should say first that a lot of what we’ve built today is because of you, because of our community. We're extremely grateful for and humbled by this. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We plan to expand the ecosystem through our product, our partnerships, telecommunication companies, Fortune 500 companies, enterprises, et cetera. For example, we haven’t even announced our Fortune 500 partner; we still just call them the Fortune 500 company. We’ll also naturally expand the ecosystem naturally just by expanding the ecosystem, as it’ll naturally bring in other blockchain projects as well. But the foundation of what we're building will drive this ecosystem development and the utilization of our token on-chain.
So that's the foundation that we're really striving for: solid tokenomics that will drive utilization and kind of bring out this whole flywheel effect. That sort of model really safeguards our community and safeguards what we're building and it makes us here for the long term. So that's kind of base level. And then we have product, tokens and utility on top of that. And then our announcement and partnerships kind of like the top of the cake. I’m not sure why I started thinking about cake.
Mike: You must be hungry.
Claudia: I was triangling it, and I somehow ended up with cake layers.
Mike: You were thinking more like a pyramid.
Claudia: Yes, but everyone likes a cake.
Mike: I prefer pie, personally. I was never much of a cake guy.
Claudia: You can't tier a pie that way. Or can you?
Mike: No, I have a story I could tell about that
Claudia: Everyone’s going to say, like, “We went to this AMA once and they just talked about cakes and pies.”
Mike: Well, I saw a friend of my cousin the day after Thanksgiving one year literally take every single bit of leftovers and stack them on top of each other with the dessert on top. I think there was pie on top, the turkey on the bottom, so it’s sort of like that!
Claudia: It can be done in a weird way.
Mike: And he ate all of it in one sitting. Yeah.
Claudia: Oh!
Mike: I asked my mother, who was a nurse, and she said she thought the guy had some sort of a metabolic disorder. It had to have been ten pounds of leftovers. With discussion of pie and cake out of the way, let’s move on to some general questions, and then we’ll answer some questions about the token. First question: what will Uplink’s network growth look like in 2026? Well, obviously we can't predict the future, but if this year is any indication, that growth will be strong and exponential. We've really been blown away by the number of routers that the community has gone out and registered. So we’re hoping for more of the same sort of growth as we continue to build out the network and launch into mainnet. Next question: what challenges does Uplink currently face, and how do we address those?
Claudia: The short answer is that just like any other startup project building something new, we have regulatory challenges. We've got business challenges also because what we're building is a brand new business platform. We have market challenges as well, although a lot of them have begun to clear up with the Genius Act and with the potential Clarity Act. Once the US government decides on the Clarity Act, we should have more clarity, pun intended. There are always challenges for any startup. But the way that we see these challenges is that we prepare for them as best as we can. We are fully prepared for every challenge that I have mentioned before, but there are some challenges that require us to pivot, to adapt, to build something else in addition to what was already on the roadmap. So I think that that's the most important part is that we try to come as prepared as possible and that we're able to be flexible and adapt where it's needed in a way that's going to make the platform most suitable and most sustainable for the long term and more useful for the telecommunication and connectivity space, which is really why we're here in the first place.
Mike: For sure. And what major milestones would you say we have achieved this year so far?
Claudia: We launched the Uplink App early this year, so that was a huge milestone. We've got almost 3.5 million registered routers to date, which is amazing. And there are many development milestones that I can’t share just yet. My marketing highlights were getting featured in Forbes and Carlos getting an interview at Nasdaq.
Mike: And let's move on, finally, to some token questions. First one: if point-to-ULX conversion is opened at TGE, it will lead to congestion and a high conversion ratio; why don't we open it a couple of months in advance? Unfortunately, as we’ve mentioned before, there are many details about the TGE that we legally can’t share right now. But with regard to this particular question, rest assured that we’re going to have everything about the TGE laid out to account for any possibility and any eventuality based on our own internal discussions and consultations with our advisors.
Next question: Claudia, when will the Uplink Points reward program end? And what is the purpose of Uplink Points?
Claudia: Points are a simulation of how our tokenomics will work in the ecosystem. As for how they’ll interact specifically with the platform during TGE, we’ll release more details about that closer to the actual TGE date.
Mike: And a final one: when is wallet connection coming? We don’t have an exact date, but it’s coming. Wallet connection will be essential to our tokenomics.
Claudia: That’s all the time we have! Thank you, everyone, for joining. It really means a lot to us. We genuinely have a great time.
Mike: Absolutely. And I'll just reiterate to everyone, don't ever hesitate to get in touch. Don't be shy. Not only am I here to answer your questions, concerns, feedback, et cetera, but it's also very, very helpful to hear them. If you want to get in contact, ping me or open a ticket and let's chat. Thank you to everyone for attending! We’ll see you in the next AMA. Have a great day.
Claudia: Bye guys. [AMA ends]
